Summer time

So, I just realized that it has been since DECEMBER since I have posted anything. I think that it is time to start doing this a little more often. I started school last fall, and have already completed one year, and am currently working on my summer classes. So we have been super busy! Austin turned 2 in January....and Rhegan will be 5 in August, and start Kindergarten!! I can't believe it! So I'm attaching a FEW pictures of recent activities, and am making myself a promise to post more often. In fact, I think that I'm going to back post some special events like Christmas, Austin's birthday, Easter, and things like that! Enjoy the pictures!!

Is it already Christmas time??!!

I can't believe it is almost Christmas time AGAIN! Time really does fly! I can't believe that Rhegan is 4, and Austin is already almost 2. This will be Rhegan's 5th Christmas! And Austin's 2nd Christmas. Each year, I love to send out cards with pictures of the kids. This year Shutterfly is haveing an awesome deal! If you blog about it, you get 50 FREE cards! Don't you LOVE when you get cards in the mail that have pictures on them? I do! It's my favorite. Not only do I feel special that someone thought of me. But I feel like it's totally worth it to do a card myself, to give other people the same feeling! I hope that everyone has a great holiday season! And remember what Christmas is really about!

So about 8 weeks ago, I found a breeder www.backwoodszoocrew.com - the Lambs! They breed Maine Coons - and live pretty close by in Centre Alabama. So I decided to follow her site updates. I wanted a Red kitty. But when I saw her three litters of kittens that were available, the only reds where males...and taken. So I settled for a little white rat. Of course she has grown in only 8 weeks to this beautiful kitten! We were able to go and get her at 8 weeks old. So last Friday on May 7th, me and Nick wrode up to Centre Al, and got her! The Lambs are an awesome couple to work with, and breed beautiful cats! She is the most playful thing ever. And even though it makes me miss my Mika (rip 10/7/09) :( I am excited to get to know Bella just as well.

February SNOW!

This was Rhegan's 3rd snow experience! She had a blast playing in it! This was the 2nd time it snowed for Austin....but the first time he was able to sit out in it. He wasn't too sure about things...and only lasted about 5 minutes!

So to give a little update on Austin: He has started walking in February! But this week he has started taking about 6-10 steps at a time! He says - Dada, Mama, Paw-paw, Uh-oh, Thank you (Tan-too). He will have tubs put in his ears on Monday (the 22nd). So hopefully he will start feeling better and stop having ear infections!!!

Rhegan should start (if she is accepted) pre-school in June! She is so excited to go to school!! :) She is getting so big it's unreal!!

So over Christmas Break, I took Rhegan to the Zoo. Here are a few pics of the MANY we took to show how much fun she had! She LOVED the playground so much! And her favorite animal were the monkeys! :)

The other night when we where eating supper, we had the weather on TV. The meteorologist was telling about all the rain in Cali - and how it would be so much that it would create mudslides. Rhegan said "I LOVE mudslides mama. I like puddles too! I can slide down the mudslide and straight into the puddle!" It was HILARIOUS!

Happy Birthday to You!!!

Austin is One now! I can't believe how time has flown!! I mean, it really feels just like yesterday that he was born. In fact, the other day on the way to daycare, I told Rhegan that Austin would soon be turning 1. She said "Mamma, I remember when you went to the Hospital. And I got in your lap and pushed that button. (the one that calls the nurse station :)) She said " I was hungry and I went with Pawpaw to the snack machine, and when I got back Austin was here! I gave him lots of hugs and kisses. And I stole some of your pineapple off your plate too mommy" It was the cutest thing EVER. And she is SUCH a smart girl to remember that a whole year later!

Austin

So he is one day away from being 11 months! His first birthday is FAST approaching!! So the following are the "new" things he has done!!

1. Stands on his own.

2. Has 8 teeth.

3. Says "Uh Uh Uh Uh" (Oh-Oh) :)

4. "Mama" "Dada" "Paw-paw - (only twice)"

5. Still going to bed at 8:30 and sleeping through the night!!!!
